We started this year’s work with a lobby day in Olympia on February 12th. This

event was sponsored by HSUS. It was very well attended. There was something

for everyone, starting with basic information so beginners would know how a bill

starts, as will as opportunities for letter writing and appointments with meeting

attendees, Representatives and Senators. A very big thanks to HSUS for this

opportunity.

Senator Craig Pridemore, D-Vancouver, who proposed Senate Bill 5329 or the spay/neuter bill, relased a press statement on the bill.

The Spay/Neuter Bill is Now in the State Legislature
